Land of the sun

At one point in time me and my husband lived in Daytona Florida, 2 blocks from Daytona Beach. Florida has gorgeous white sand beaches with sunsets that you just have to see to believe. Although the weather can get quit hot its well worth the visit. You will find many attractions to visit along with great hospitality. The south can really show you a great time. For those who love the sites, you have to travel the coast and check out the beaches of Florida, and if you are lucky, you just may get to see dolphins playing and jumping the waves of the great ocean. You will find great food and all the shops you can dream of.

Florida is a great place to travel with the family. They offer many different theme and water parks. The children are sure to have the time of their life. Florida is a place you will never forget. Our daughter was only 2 when we live there and to this day she will still talk about living there. At such a young age you wouldn't think she would remember those days, that just goes to show that Florida is a great place to visit on your next family vacation.

Seeing how I am going to be doing reviews on travel sites here I might as well try to make a little cash for my efforts. I ran across a site called blogsvertise.com. They pay you to write blogs about websites whether they are good or bad therefore I will not have to lie about the site I am reviewing because I know I will get paid no matter what I say about them. My favorite travel destination

Sometimes life can bring on allot of stress so I do what I can to feel better, I travel. I have traveled the East coast more than I can count, especially the beautiful beaches. My favorite travel hot spot would be the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The Outer Banks offers the young and the old everything you could dream of, from glorious white sand beaches to top rated restaurants. For the women who love shopping you are sure to find what your heart desires, as there is a large variety of shops.

Years ago before I had visited the Outer Banks I would always see bumper stickers that said OBX. I was not sure what this stood for. In the early 90's my mother had moved to the island, and it was then that I found out that this stood for Outer Banks of North Carolina. Yes I am one of thousands who sport the OBX sticker.

The island also offers many historical sites, such as The Wright Brothers Memorial, along with many light houses. Me and my family have toured the light houses and if this is something you have never done I would highly suggest doing so. My son has to go climb the stairs each time we visit. The light houses, such as Cape Hatteras, offers a beautiful view of the area.

I could write forever about the Outer Banks so I will be adding reviews of the area to my blog. There are many destinations to tour in this area. If you are looking for relaxation or for that great family get away this is the place to be.
